My ZALORA Wishlist

ZALORA is like my fashion playground. A workaholic like me does not have much time going to malls as much as I would like to. I'm almost always in front of my computer, typing, researching, reading, doing my work even beyond office hours. If you think that I'm such a bore, well, I probably am. But online shopping has been my haven and it has never failed to keep me grounded and keep my sanity at normal levels.

Scouting for branded apparel and discounted products are easier with the click of the mouse: zero varicose veins, guaranteed! You know what else is best about online shopping? You don't have to commute, you don't have to go around looking for parking space, and you can compare prices right at your fingertips! Add it all up with free shipping only from Zalora. Let me take you to the details of my ZALORA wishlist.

Five Choices | One Look
Below are the details of my top five choices with description from the Zalora website:

Wanderlust Ruffled 2-pc. The Wanderlust Ruffled 2-pc is a very playful and feminine ensemble. The floral-frill decal both at the lower edge of the bikini top, and the front waistline of the bikini bottom, give it such a light and fun look. These are perfect if you plan on taking a stroll on the beach and showing off your bright personality! Chic, elegant and trendy.

I've always dreamed of sporting a white bikini. But when I saw this ruffled bikini, I instantly knew that this is for me. It's got the right twist on a classic bikini. I'm the kind of person who brings a "swimming kit" for emergency and out-of-the-blue swimming escapades and this two-piece is just perfect. In my complete corporate look, who'd have thought that I'm wearing a two-piece underneath?

Boss Jacket. The Boss jacket by Niche is the perfect addition to a modern woman's business ensemble. Pair it with a plain white blouse and black fitted skirt and pumps for that ultra-sexy, career woman look!
Space Combi Dress. This Beige/Black Sleeveless Round Neck sheath dress by Space will get you the attention you desire at any cocktail party or special event. Match with a pair of stilettos and get the show on the road.
The beige and black combination of the dress by Space is a total headturner. And the Boss Jacket? A neck breaker! These are two classic pieces that will never run out of style. The Space Combi Dress may be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. If you're on the corporate world, pairing it with the Boss Jacket would surely make you look like you're on top of the corporate ladder. Take the jacket off and you're ready for a relaxing date with your partner. Talk about an ensemble which you can take effortlessly and flawlessly from day to night!

Bag It Out Shoulder Tote. Keep your essentials safe and classy with the Bag it Out Shoulder Tote Bag. The faux leather upper is accented by drawstring decals at the sides, giving it a very sleek and suave design. This versatile bag is good from work week to party weekend.
In keeping everything neutral, I chose this brown faux leather bag primarily because of the simplicity of its design and superior usability. The size of this bag is just perfect for my gazillion things like my checkbook wallet, card holder, calendar, cellular phones, notebook, and I'm sure that an Ipad will also fit in perfectly. Moreover, the shoulder straps and the drop are just right and I'm sure that this bag will be very comfortable to bring around. This can be my "everyday bag".

Rockport Juliet Pumps. This pair of Black Juliet Pumps by Rockport are stunning yet comfortable platform heels. They add sophistication to the workday and volume to nights out on the town. The days of the uncomfortable shoes are over.
My primary consideration in choosing shoes is comfort. These pumps won't make your feet cry. It features adiPRENE by Adidas technology which gives superior cushioning. Aside from that, it's also a classic piece that you can pair with absolutely anything. If you have this pair, you're sure that this would be put to good use. Comfort plus usability equals superior value for money! These will be the shoes that I will never want to take off.

Bioessence: Launching of pHformula with Iya Villania

Davao City welcomed Iya Villania last May 12, 2012 in a press conference for the launching of Bioessence's newest product line: pH Formula.

Dra. Emma B. Guerrero, the President of Bioessence Philippines and Mr. Jules CabaƱero, Marketing Director, grazed the event together with one of their newest endorsers, Iya. Iya shares the endorsement with fellow Kapamilya and ASAP host, Nikki Gil.

The new endorsers chosen by Bioessence are young, vibrant, and have proved well in their careers. Dra. Guerrero told us that choosing young endorsers like Iya and Nikki are helping in Bioessence's new campaign: Start Early. Bioessence's campaign stresses the importance of taking care of one's self early or at a young age.

pH Formula
pH Formula, according to Dr. Guerrero, can target the following specific problems: Melasma, Hyper-pigmentation, Acne Scars, and Aging. The treatment is a combination of acids for targeted problems. pH Formula came from Spain and it is a very mild compared to other services (e. g. Obagi) but it will give you results in as early as the first treatment. This has already been tried and tested by Bioessence for a year before it was launched here in the Philippines. The treatment is recommended to be made once a week for one month and may be extended depending on the client's case. pH Formula has its own product line so aside from the service offered at Bioessence, you can purchase the accompanying products for you to use at home while you're undergoing treatment.

The gorgeous Iya Villania
Iya Villania
Sunblock, moisturizer, sleep and water are the four beauty tools that Iya cannot live without. Among the four, she regards sleep as the most important of them all, 'cause it doesn't only affect beauty, but her mood as well. Iya loves Bioessence's massage services and she often goes to Bioessence after her work in the morning show, Umagang Kay Ganda. For the two hours of my encounter with Iya, I've found her to be really humble, she always keeps her feet on the ground and that's what I think has taken her to where she is now, of course, aside from her talent in acting, hosting, singing, and dancing.

Va-Va-Voom Velvet Matte Lipstick

According to urbandictionary.com, va va voom is the feeling that you get when you're filled with inspiration or full of excitement or energy. Personally, I use the word va va voom to describe a sexy woman.

Meet VMV Hypoallergenics' perfect red lipstick: Va-Va-Voom.

This is perfect for those days when you're not in the mood to wear too much or any make up at all. Va-Va-Voom is deep red and the color just perks you up! I'd say this lippie is a mood enhancer on its own. Remember how a pair of red stiletto heels just transforms a woman? Well, this red lipstick can do that transformation for you, too, without hurting your feet. Just one swipe and you're good to go!

This lippie is categorized by VMV under their Velvet Matte line of lipsticks. Va-Va-Voom claims to have full coverage, full body, and I can vouch for that. Aside from that, this lipstick is also long-wearing and you don't need to re-apply often. Although this lipstick is matte, I noticed that it's not as drying as the other matte shades when used on its own. But for better results, you can swipe some lip moisturizer or lip balm a few minutes before applying lipstick to make sure that your lips won't go dry.

Below are the photos I took while wearing Va-Va-Voom. I applied lipstick on its own (without any lipbalm or lip gloss). I didn't wear any make up in these photos except Va-Va-Voom.

False Eyelashes

I've been reading through AskMeWhats' Blog when I got the idea of posting about False Eyelashes.

It was last 2009 when I first wore false eyelashes to a special occasion, it was our law school prom. I fought with my make up artist friend, Christopher, about wearing false eyelashes. I did not want to look like I was joining a gay pageant so I wanted to skip the false eyelashes. But my friend assured me that false eyelashes were a "major major" thing and that I just had to trust him.

False eyelashes, here I come! For someone who cries even at the slight touch of lining my waterline, I was nervous with sticking glue up my peepers! When the falsies were finally "installed", the ignorant me was babbling because I swear it looked fake! My good friend trimmed the lashes just to make me stop talking.

Below are my photos taken 3 long years ago. This is such a memorable day since it's my first time to wear false eyelashes. Hahaha!
